A Bit Of Me

SATURDAY

Photobucket
Hosted by Danielle at There's A Book
From Danielle's blog:
We all leave our “footprint” on the world, in one way or another. We each, individually, do something or are someone that makes the world a little better just by being here. I created this weekly meme to get to know the blogging community I love just a bit better. To know what makes them tick, outside of books, that is. Each week I will post a question to be answered in the following week’s “A Bit of Me(Me)”. Check back each Saturday to get the info for next week’s post and link up with your current post right here.
This week's question:  What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?

I remember spending hours playing with my Barbie dolls.  And my favorite outfits for the dolls were the ones that were high couture that my mother would knit and crochet for the dolls lol.  I remember one being a brown knitted coat with a mink collar.
What about you...what was your favorite toy as a kid?

  1. One of my favorite pastimes when I was a kid, was playing jacks. I spend many an hour playing jacks.

I also crocheted little dresses for my daughters Barbies.

  2. I had the English version, Sindy and some smaller dolls called Pippa dolls.

My nan would buy new outfits for the Sindy and Pippa dolls when I visited.

  4. I had completely forgotten about my Barbie dolls! I used to get a new one every birthday from my grandmother as a tradition until I got to be "too old" for them. My biggest problem though...I'd give them haircuts and then be sad that their hair never grew back. LOL
