I never worked away from home, I married young, had 5 children that kept me busy. We lived on a farm, so with family and farm life, I was always busy doing something, but nothing exciting. Now that I'm retired, I have been enjoying the fruits of my labor, (pun intended.) I always enjoyed reading, but never had much time for it. Now I am catching up, and lovin' it. Thanks for finding my blog. I like ...Hello CMash! Thanks for finding my blog. I like your story of the two jobs. I am an RN also. It was the most fulfilling and most challenging job I ever had. I especially liked the one-on-one caring giving scenarios.

Don't feel like it's gone forever just because your are now a mother. It's been 4 decades of nursing for me, but only one was in a hospital setting. You will find that your nursing experience will be useful throughout your whole life. Just last month, I was privileged to nurse my good friend dying at home. When we spend our winters onboard Steadfast, I am always called upon to put in or take out stitches, give injections for various reasons, clean and dress wounds, consult on infections, and a myriad of other things. And I have to say, the nursing knowledge I had, gave me wonderful confidence to face the challenges of motherhood.

It's good to get to meet you. Looking forward to more.
RosemaryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06121172465022137270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28103773585105300.post-32904961756382299622010-09-25T10:58:29.334-04:002010-09-25T10:58:29.334-04:00Those were some interesting jobs...and quite diffe...Those were some interesting jobs...and quite different from one another.

Here's my post:

http://snowconnections.wordpress.com/2010/09/25/a-bit-of-me-me-worst-jobs/Laurel-Rain Snowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00101090217639410913noreply@blogger.com
