Do you take breaks while reading a book? Or read it straight through? (And, by breaks, I don’t mean sleeping, eating and going to work; I mean putting it aside for a time while you read something else.)
Never !!  I have to read one book at a time.  It has always astounded me, and still does, how people CAN read more than one book at a time.  I know that I would have to reread chapters to recall characters, story lines, etc.  I am a front to back page girl.  Once I start a book it is always read to the finish.  On rare occasions, when I get in a reading slump or I am just not in the mood for a current book I have chosen to read and put it down for a later date, I start from the beginning again.

  1. I usually read one book at a time but sometimes if I'm reading something intense, I like to have something light on the side to give me a break. Not too often though.

  2. I would say rarely! I don't do this often, but have from time to time.

  3. I am one of those that can (don't often) have more than one book at a time going. Usually I do stick with one to the finish.

  4. Yep, one book for me, and in one straight shot. Here's mine.

  5. Since I have become part of the book blogging community, I thought I was the only one who can and only does, read one book at a time.

  6. HUH? Well Good Lord, that just doesn't make any sense at all. Reading more than one book at a time... hmmm... well you do have two hands. Hmmm... you could read one page on one book & then one page on the other!? That makes about as much sense as reading two books at a time I'd say!
