Great question!!! I recently read and reviewed (06/16/10) Beachcombers by Nancy Thayer. For those who haven't read the book or the reviews, it is about 3 sisters who go home, to Nantucket, one summer to deal with past and present issues in their lives. The "sisters" came to life on the pages to the point that I felt I knew them. Even though each one had their quirks and problems, they were also fun loving. And the descriptions of Nantucket, beautiful, whereas I could picture the island that I have always wanted to visit. So my beach buddies would be the Fox sisters, Abbie, Emma and Lily and it would have to be on the quaint island of Nantucket!

Oh! they would be a fun group to spend a day at the beach with. Since I'm not a beach kind of person, I decided I would need people with me who could entertain me.
