Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about the war books
With yesterday being Anzac Day, I thought I’d ask a theme question this week. Are you a reader of war books? And if so, do you have any favourites?
  Not sure if this counts but the only "war book" that I read was The Diary of Anne Frank, which I read many years ago while in elementary school but it touched me so deeply that I still can recall the images that I created from reading the book.  It is definitely one of my all time favorites reads of my lifetime.

    I like books like Diary of Anne Frank. Don't mind a book that is set during wartime.

    I have never The Diary of Ann Frank. I should put that on my TBR list. You should read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne. Awesome book, but very sad. Thanks for following me and stopping by my place. I'm following you now, great place you have. Have a great day!

    the more I think about it, there are a number of books I have liked that were set during a war, but I really do not seek out that setting and would not consider myself a war book "fan".
    actually. I am not really a fan of most historical novels... ;-)
