SATURDAY
Hosted by Danielle at There's A Book
From her blog:
We all leave our “footprint” on the world, in one way or another. We each, individually, do something or are someone that makes the world a little better just by being here. I created this weekly meme to get to know the blogging community I love just a bit better. To know what makes them tick, outside of books, that is. Each week I will post a question to be answered in the following week’s “A Bit of Me(Me)”. Check back each Saturday to get the info for next week’s post and link up with your current post right here.
This Weeks Question: Who is your favorite female character, in a book or on a TV show/movie? Why?

My Answer:
This week's question is very hard for me to answer. I have been thinking about it for days (Danielle posts what the question will be in advance). I am not a big TV or movie person. The only thing I watch and/or listen to when it comes to TV is one of the 24/7 cable news station. Yes..I am a cable news junkie!! As for movies, I would rather read and form the imagery in my mind as if I AM watching a movie. Female character in a book? That would be the character in whatever my current book is. If I can relate to a character at the time of reading, then that's my favorite character.
Not sure if you learned a little bit more about me with this question, but had to answer it honestly. What about you? Any favorite female character?

It is a hard question, and I can relate to what you're saying about whatever character you're reading about. And depending on your favorite genre, that tells us a little bit about you.
Here's mine (also hard to do, so I listed several, including the traits that appealed to me):

Ok, this is absolutely hard. I dont think I will ever pick one because they are so many! LOL
I had a pretty hard time picking too, and I ended up picking three. I'm pretty inclined to pick whoever is the character in the book I'm reading too, Elizabeth I popped into my mind first thing, but I decided against her because she was a real person too.
I definitely agree! It was terribly difficult, but a lot of fun and just because you couldn't pick one doesn't mean I didn't learn about you. It just means I learned you love love love to read whatever you're reading and you like knowing what goes on in the world. Not bad at all! :o)
PS...Sorry about being so late dropping by! I was at that writing conference this weekend and failed to mention it in the post, that I would take a day or two to get to everyone.
