Tue Photobucket

NEED YOUR HELP:  It has been brought to my attention from one of my visitors, that my page is very slow in loading.  I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem, and if you are, could you please notify me.  I am not sure what or why that would happen, but if it is, I will try to figure it out and fix it.  I am sorry for any inconvenience.  Thank you Diane for letting me know.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I have just returned to Boston, from a vacation to Ireland, to learn that my brother (fictional...character in book ) has sustained life threatening injuries from a car accident and being transported to a local hospital.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother! How scary. :( I'm sending you both good thoughts.

This book sounds intriguing!

And yes, the page did take awhile to load!

Bookwanderer: It is not my brother. It is a character in the book I am reading and part of Tuesday's meme....where are we....but thank you. The funny thing is I don't even have a brother.

Laurel: Thank you..going to try and fix.

Oh goodness, what a relief! I hadn't heard of that meme before. Thanks for clarifying. :)

My Tuesday Teaser is over at bookwanderer!

Also, the one reason I could think as to why your blog may load slowly for some is that you have a lot of animated gifs and ads. I'm on my work computer, so EVERYTIHNG loads slowly for me! :)

Your page is loading fine for me. But for those who have slow service or dial up, it most likely is your animated images. They have a tendency to eat up laoding times. Cool teaser...leaves more questions. Here's Mine

Thank you all for letting mr know about the loading. I tried taking a few items off so we shall see.

Bookwanderer...its a fun meme (but will have to remember to put in a caveat before posting lol)

Today the blog loaded just fine for me, but I was having problems previously. Perhaps what ever you changed has done the job. (I do have high speed services).

Great teaser. I liked this book. Your blog loads fast for me but I use Firefox. When I used Internet Explorer I had a lot of trouble with blogs loading.

I had no problem with your page loading. I'm using Firefox though, which is a lot quicker than IE.
