Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about dust jackets.
Do you prefer books with a dust jacket? What do you do with your dust jacket while reading? Leave it on or take it off? (Question courtesy of Kim from Page after Page)It depends on where and what position I am reading in. And also depends on the cover itself. If I am in one of my reading chairs, the cover usually stays on. If I am lying in bed reading, I take the jacket off as it tends to move around or even get torn, which I am very OCD when it comes to my books. The jacket also gets taken off if for some reason it is not a well fitted jacket so I won't damage it. Because I pass my books on, I want them to look as new as possible for the next reader.
This is a meme to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read, and the books to be finished this week.
I had a very slow week reading but did finish (requested review from The Hachette Book Group) 
And started (which I have been looking forward to from Bestsellersworld)
It was a very slow week for mail deliveries

Here is mine. I collect dust jackets.
I use the flaps as book marks.*gasp* I don't pass on my books because I will never see them again. If a friend shows a strong interest, I'll gift the book to them.

from all the posts I have read, it seems a lot of people are very attached to their book jackets. I like them, usually take them on while reading and then replace them.
it's better to have something to read than none at all. but sometime i read none for the whole week before. *LOL*

It doesn't matter to me, as long as the book is good on the inside. I tend to take them off while reading though. Here's Mine.

Thank you all for stopping by and commenting. I love reading all the opinions. I try to stop by your sites also, but this week, please forgive me, I have appointments everyday for preop issues for my upcoming surgery and am not putting in computer time like I usually do. But know that I really love all the comments as to what you are reading and your memes comments.
I take the jackets off and lose them.
On a coincidental note, my Dad just reminded me of two tips concerning dust jackets, one obvious, the other quite handy.
