Booking Through Thursday

NEW TOUR JUST POSTED-SEE SYNOPSIS BELOW:

Today's question:
What’s the first book that you ever read more than once? (I’m assuming there’s at least one.)

What book have you read the most times? And–how many?
My answer:
I can vaguely remember rereading a book from my childhood but can't remember the name.  I can picture the cover in my mind, but not the title.  As far as in my life from Junior High to this day, I have never read a book twice, that I know.  There are too many books that I haven't read and want to, then to reread a book whereas I know how it will turn out.  Theres's that saying.....too many books, too little time.

IF INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME.  I reviewed this in the past and gave it a 4/5.  Ebook for review only.
Synopsis (back of book): On the eve of announcing his run for Congress, a charismatic Chicago politician causes a deadly accident. Panicked, he frames his best friend, a good-hearted alcoholic, and flees the scene. As one man tries to pick up the pieces of his shattered life, the other embarks on a meteoric rise to political stardom. But when a dogged detective digs deeper into the case, the political superstar must decide just how far he is willing to go to keep his dark secret. Author Joseph combines page-turning suspense with a poignant tale of inspiration and redemption as he asks, is "the greater good" just a lie we tell ourselves to justify the sins we commit when no one is watching?

I agree with you "To many books, to little time." I have a sweat shirt with that saying across the front. I'm sure people think I a bit weird when I wear it, which in the winter is a lot.

It is true that there is too many new books to read, but I can't resist revisiting the ones i loved. Here is my BTT.

I don't re-read much either.

I don't often re-read but there are some favourites that stand the test of time and warrant a re-visit now and again.

Here's my BTT.
