I agree..soups and stews become staples around here in the cold weather. I also break out the breadmaker when it is cold. Nothing like a slab of hot bread to soak up some stew or soup. We sure need some warm comfort food today!
Supposed to be in the low 80's here but when it does cool down, I take advantage of it and have the oven on. Meatloaf and roasted potatoes is a fave with TBG and me.
I love breads like pumpkin bread and soups as well chicken and dumpling yum!
Anything I can make in the oven. I hardly use my oven all Summer long so fall and winter is when I like to make roasted meals. Yum!!
I've been sick all week sucking down the soup.
Have a great weekend!

I love home-made Italian soup. I know what it's called in Italian, but have no clue what it's called in English. It's got everything in it, but the kitchen sink! mmmmmmmmmm That's a belly warmer for sure. Thanks for stopping by, and have a fun & safe Halloween!
I love just about any kind of soup.
Homemade vegetable soup or chili.
