From An Island Life: In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
  My question is:   Favorite Girl Scout Cookie?
     Thin Mint....mmmm....wouldn't mind a few right now.

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.

And...here we go!
1. Why are you making the bed, you are only going to sleep in it again? (words spoken by my family)
2. I want you to take a trip to Aruba asap.
3. If I am willing to do it then it will be on my terms.
4. Take a chance and see what happens.
5. I could use a VACATION.
6. Praying that the surgery is successful and then I will have a great quality of life with little pain.
7. And for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending time with hubby, tomorrow my plans include laundry, computer to-do items, reading and hubby quality time and Sunday, I want to wish my baby, Mark, a Happy 24th birthday, wish he lived closer, and its RELAX & READ Sunday!

Your Friday 56 intrigues me. Makes me curious about what is the "Baby" that the narrator talked about. Very good choice!

You may find my Friday 56 over here.
Happy weekend!

I agree with other commenters - I want to know when the commercial break is over so I can find out what the announcer sweated over!

My Friday 56 is here.

Tagalongs, hands down the best Girl Scout cookie ever!

Okay, seriously...the 56 made me laugh out loud. I'm guessing "the baby" isn't a real baby, but my mind told me it was when I first read the few sentences. So when I reached the "I'm going to show you how I made it"...I just couldn't hold the laughter in.
Have you read that particular book yet? (is it the one you're reading now?) or is it just "the closest book"? My closest books are never the ones I'm currently reading.
Thanks for sharing all the fun!

Definitely, without a doubt the thin mint.

Neat snippet. I wonder what is going to happen when the commercial break is over. I like the GS shortbread cookies. I tried the Berry Munch this year but wasn't too impressed. I won't get them again. I'll be glad when the GS stop haunting my grocery store. I don't need any more cookies and they are so tempting.

Thank you all for stopping by and commenting. I realized yesterday that I need to posting a different format for memes. I put them all in one post and it gets confusing when there are a lot of comments so thank you for allowing me to see my mistake.

As for the Friday 56 snippet..it is my current read and usually always is, because my book goes everywhere I go so it is always close at hand. My lips are sealed as to what it meant..lol maybe I'll let the secret out in my review.

As for my Aloha ?...I was surprised that it was a higher percentage for just one variety. But have to admit...wish I hadn't eaten that last thin mint because typing about it is giving me the craving for just a few more lol
