From An Island Life:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Tomorrow is the anniversary of 9/11, so in remembrance of those that lost their lives and those that lost loved ones,

MY QUESTION IS:
Where were you on that fateful day?
MY ANSWER:
I was having my coffee, checking my emails and had the tv on listening to the Today Show..

I was at work and all hell broke loose. We were conducting a major conference when things went dead silent. A colleague called us over and we were stumped. We thought it was a movie and then realized the horror.... Still brings shivers and tears to my eyes now...

I was sitting in our family room, talking to my in-laws, who were visiting. We had plans to go to breakfast and then I was going to take my mother in law to Atlanta to shop. Needless to say, we canceled our trip.

Hi Cheryl, I was getting ready for work when my sister, living in OH, called me and told me to turn on the TV. It was unbelievable and I would have thought it was an accident if not for the second plane. Was it really all that long ago? Seems like yesterday.

I was watching Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson, when the second plane appeared on the screen, I started to say what is that plane doing, and it hit the Tower. I was astounded, couldn't believe my eyes for a minute.

I was at home getting ready for work. I was watching the Fox News when sipping my coffee I thought the channel changed to a movie when I saw the second plane fly into the second twin tower. I was in awe, confused, and we kept the TV oon 24/7 for days. I have one tape of news from that day, and I wish I would've taken more. It still gives me that feeling inside when I watch it to this day!

I was on the mountain with my wife. She looked at me and said there are no planes in the sky - you know the world could end and we would never know it. She turned on the radio and the first thing we heard was there are f-16 flying up the hudson.

It took us 6 hours to get to civiliation. 5 to get cell phonde service.

Now I have 4 nieces and nephews in iraq
