Friday Memes

FRIDAY

Photobucket
   From An Island Life:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants!

MY QUESTION:
What do you think is your best physical feature?
MY ANSWER:
My eyes.
.

Book Blogger Hop
Hosted by Jennifer from CRAZY FOR BOOKS
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

This week's question:
"Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her."

My answer:
I just finished Blood Of My Brother by James LePore.  The main character, Jay, who lost his parents in a plane crash, which affected him in many ways, now has lost his best friend due to murder.  He gives up his law practice and sets out to find those that killed his friend, Dan, and finds something bigger than he imagined.  3/5.

Sounds like an interesting book. I love mysteries, but I haven't read one for quite a while.

Thanks for voting my friend! My Trish was so depressed when she was kicked out of first place I can't begin to tell you. Hey, EST time what are you2 hrs. ahead or behind??? I always forget. In answer to your question. It use to be my hair, but with all this medication I've been losing so much it depresses me. It use to be my smile, and I'll just leave it at that. Then it use to be... it use to be... ah crap ain't nothing good... oh wait, because I pamper myself once a month I now have beautiful toes and nails. Love doing them. ~hehe~

At my age the only thing left to work with would be my hair, everything else has fallen out or down..

I am reading "Radio Shangri-La" It's about Lisa Napoli's move from Los Angeles to Bhutan. "The Happiest Kingdom on Earth." Lisa was in the grip of a midlife crisis, cynical about work and depressed about her love life, when a chance encounter with a handsome stranger led to the adventure of a lifetime, to Bhutan, to volunteer at the country's first radio station. Lisa Napoli is a journalist.
