Hosted by An Island Life
From An Island Life:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, visit An Island Life answer the question and then post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

MY QUESTION:
Are you afraid of flying?
MY ANSWER:
YES!!!

Book Blogger Hop

Hosted by Jennifer from CRAZY FOR BOOKS
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.

This Week's Question:This week's question comes from Christina who blogs at The Paperback Princesses. She asks:

"If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"
My Answer:Yes, I have done that many times.  A few authors come to mind.  I picked up books by authors that I had never read, Emilie Richards and Christianne Heggan and was hooked.  If the library didn't carry past books, I called every used book story within driving distance (this was before internet) trying to track down and buy all works by them.  The internet has solved problems such as these.

I haven't flown since 1973, but I wasn't afraid then, however, if I were to fly today, I'm afraid I would be afraid someone would be asleep at the wheel.

If I find an new author I like, you bet I will be looking for other books by them.

No I'm not afraid to fly.

Yes I always google the author to find other books. I recently did this after reading a book by Vincent Zandri.

No, I'm not afraid of flying - but I don't like having to deal with the airport fiasco. :)

I knew someone killed in a crash. Flying is just such a pain these days.

Have a great Friday!

The Internet does help make life better when you trying to search for things, doesn't it? I once found a game that had been out of print for over 20 years. It was an old family favorite and I wanted to get it for my parents.

Oh, I love to fly. I'd fly every time I took a trip, if I could afford to.

No I am not afraid to fly but I get nervous when the plan lands. I have been through a horrible landing which created not so good memories!

I also have a problem if feeling too embarrassed to ask for a wheel chair when I get to the airport. I walk in very normally but with all the standing, get payback later. The last time I waited in line, I started to feel so awful that I wanted to sit on the floor while in line and the next day I could barely walk.

Yes, when I read a great book, I always search out more written by the same author or if this is the first book, I ask if the author is writing another.

I just don't like flying...I don't seem to mind short plane rides but at the end of May I'm moving to Japan and it will be the longest flying I've ever done...

Hopping on by and following! I see you're part of Olivia DeBelle Byrd's book tour! She guest posted on my blog about a week ago. I loved Miss Hildreth when I read it last year!

I think I've been flying back and forth because I'm studying far from home and the only transport is the airplane. So I guess the frightening part of flying is over now. LOL.

Happy Easter and Happy friday!
