I have been very challenged in life! My son was in and out of the hospital for the first 2 years of his life and came close to dying many times. That was a very hard time emotionally, but what made it worse was that fact that the doctors never found out what was wrong with him. They went down a list of things starting with Cystic Fibrosis and ending with Cancer. Going through that for 2 years definitely made me stronger.
(his health problems gradually got better and he's fine now, but the drs. never did find what was wrong with him)

I have been challenged in my life. Me and my husband have been trying to have a child for a long time now. It was very hard going through all the tests seeing the doctor all the time. You give up hope. Lucky for us we were about to adopt a baby boy about 6 years ago who is makes us very happy and who we love very much. He is a blessing. I wouldn't change anything in the world. He is my son is everyway. It is still hard sometimes not being able to experience getting pregnant and having a baby. It has made me stronger. Please enter me in contest. I would love to read this book. Tore923@aol.com

Being the single parent of a high needs child made me a stronger person. I lucked out and he grew into a wonderful man. He still drives me crazy at times but not like when he was little.

My sons at age 13 months and almost 3 were visiting their Grandparents in their big house and they decided to take them down to their boat house. I got a phone call that one of my babies had fallen in the river and was being taken to the hospital. He was dead for over 20 minutes! He live until 18 years old with severe cerebral palsy and our family was forever changed and we took care of him at home. Life challenges we've had them. They are out of our control and we have to keep going through. Rita Spratlen

I am always being challenged I grew up with a learning disability and suffered through a lot of pain and sorrow when I was a child, being harassed and made fun of. My husband and I had been through a lot as well. WE both lost our jobs, I had two miscarriages but it made us stronger. My hardship when I was younger made me a better person and a more compassionate person towards others.
