Monday Memes

MONDAY

To all our blogging friends in Missouri, I hope you and your family and friends are safe from the devestating tornado that touched down yesterday.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

This week's question:
What great books did you hear about/discover this past week? Share with us your FRIDAY FINDS!

My answer:
Unfortunately, I haven't done much in searching for new books this past week.  I haven't even done much reading and/or blog hopping as I would have liked to this past week.  It seems that all I have gotten accomplished is drafting up future posts for Guest Author posts and/or giveaways.  The reason for this is real life.  I have been back and forth to the hospital as my Mom was admitted last Tuesday, to rule out a stroke.  She did have a mini one called a TIA but has had some complications and is still hospitialized.
I know that this is not the place to ask for favors, but, if you believe in prayers, they would be greatly appreciated and Thank you.

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A girl and her books and is now on tour.
According to Marcia, “Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Thank you, C Mash, for mentioning the people of Missouri. I'm watching Good Morning America which is focusing on the tornado and its aftermath. They need our prayers and support.

Also, much love and prayers for your mother to have a speedy recovery and good health; and for you because you are caring for her.

There is no need to apologize as you and your family always come first. Of course, you are all in my prayers. Give her a big Bingo hug!...and YOU take care of yourself as well!! If I can do anything to help, just holler.

Thinking of you and your Mum, Cheryl.
Such a worry when a loved one is in hospital.
It is tiring too, back and forth to visit.

The Arrivals looks like a good read
