My most memorable new years was 1999-2000. That's the only time I've every seen the ball drop.

Great question! I think mine was New Year's eve 1999 - you know, with the whole Y2K fiasco/scare...I had fun calling my friends and family out West at midnight our time (9pm their time) and jokingly told them to run for their lives since the world was coming to an end... ;)
Aloha: Happy New Year Resolutions
I went to the Museum with my parents in Norfolk Harbor. I really did enjoy that year. I hold it precious, due to my Mom is gone now.
My most memorable New Year's Eve, was one many, many years ago. We were 'hellbend' on getting to the New Year's Eve Dance. It was snowing, snowing, snowing, but we picked up another couple and off to the dance we went. I would never even leave the house now days, in weather like that, but when I was young, I never left a snow storm keep me at home. Oh how I have changed. LOL..
mine was 2008 - the job i worked at for 10 years closed its doors that night
We had a party in our new apartment and it snowed 6 inches while we were partying.
Have a great New Years!

I really dont' know. Probably the first one after I was married. We partied like it was 1999!
I honestly can't really remember a memorable one. It seems I was usually alone. lonely. Just wanting the holidays that makes me sad to be done away with.
Yours is a great memory.
Happy New years!
It's gotta be the year my family spent New Years in New York with my aunt, uncle and cousins. It was a blast!
Um...I really don't have any
I dpn't have a super memorable one, not one that I can think of anyway.....
I think my most memorable New Years was the one after our trip to Las Vegas in December 2002. Just a day or two before the New Year we found out we were expecting our first child.
I think mine was this year itself. We did not do much - just lazed around, watch movies and went out for dinner. I dislike parties so this was the kind of new year I wanted :)
Happy New Year!
